Hi Folks!
13. March 2009 by stationmanager.
Welcome to the new home for the Recovery Radio Network! Things are changing here at the station as you probably noticed when you logged in and didn’t see the “old” intro animation and, were instead, directed to this page. Rest assured that all the audio content you have come to know and love is still here. The link to the Radio station is on the right side of this page under the “Blogroll” section labeled “Recovery Radio Network”, or, just click here.
This is our first attempt at real time communication with our community,so, please let us know what is on your minds, and how we may improve our service to you.
The recovery Radio Network runs on a shoestring budget and has no paid staff so, this “real-time” thing will more probably turn into the “part-time” or “occasional” thing but every attempt will be made to keep the conversation going.
Thanks for your support and understanding during this time of change in our lives. We are in the process of making changes to the radio station and to the website. Changes that we think will improve the way we deliver content to the many people relying on us to carry the message. Please let us know how we are doing.
Since our inception 5 years ago, we have served over 100,000 audio streams to people in more than 120 countries and the demand keeps growing. Currently we are serving over 2,500 audio streams per month, and have over 4,000 visitors per month to the website. As you might imagine, this increased demand requires us to make some improvments in how we deliver content. I hope you like it!
Here is a link to some more info on alcoholism along with a self assessment exam you might find interesting.
